Mira AI Chat¶
Chat with Mira, Revoir's on-device AI, about your dating life — by date, by person, or across your whole history.
What Is Mira?¶
Mira is Revoir's AI assistant. She uses Apple Intelligence — the on-device AI built into iOS 18 — to analyze your journal and have natural conversations about your dating patterns, feelings, and decisions.
Because Mira runs entirely on your device, nothing you share with her is sent to any server. Your journal entries, moods, and reflections stay private.
How to Open Mira¶
You can start a Mira conversation from several places:

The post-date shortcut appears on the confirmation screen after you log a date — tap Talk to Mira to process the date while it's still fresh.
What You Can Ask¶
Mira has access to your full journal (people, dates, moods, tags, notes, and compatibility data). Some things you can ask:
- "How have my moods been trending with Alex?"
- "What patterns do you notice across my recent dates?"
- "Which people have I had the most second dates with?"
- "How do I feel after dinner dates compared to coffee dates?"
- "What does my compatibility data say about this person?"
Mira uses hedging language ("tends to," "may suggest") because patterns are not predictions — they are starting points for reflection.
Long-Term Memory (Premium)¶
With Revoir Premium, your Mira chat history is saved on your device. When you start a new chat, Mira picks up where you left off.
How memory works¶
- Your recent messages carry into your next chat, so you do not have to repeat yourself
- As you chat, Mira saves memories on your device, filed under the person they are about or under General Memories
Viewing and managing memories¶
Open Settings, go to Coaching, and tap Mira Memories. You can:
- Browse every saved memory, grouped by person
- Clear the memories for one person
- Clear all memories at once
Memory is a Premium feature. Free users can still chat with Mira. Their chats are not saved, so each chat starts fresh.
OCR Context¶
If you added a person by importing a dating profile screenshot via the Share Sheet, Mira has access to the original profile text. You do not need to paste it again or re-explain who the person is — Mira already knows.
This context is stored locally alongside the person's profile and is only used when you chat with Mira about that specific person.

Privacy¶
Mira is built on a strict privacy foundation:
- Entirely on-device: Mira uses Apple Intelligence, which processes everything locally on your iPhone. No data is sent to Revoir's servers or any third-party AI service.
- No cloud sync: Your conversations and memories are never uploaded.
- You control your data: Clear Mira's memories for one person or all at once, or delete the person's profile at any time to remove all associated data.
- Export-ready: Your journal data (which Mira reads) can be exported in full at any time from Settings.
Apple Intelligence requirement
Mira requires Apple Intelligence, which is available on iPhone 15 Pro and later running iOS 18.1 or later. Mira replies in your device language when Apple's on-device model supports it, which today includes Spanish, French and German. If your device language is not supported, such as Russian, Mira replies in English and tells you so. If your device does not support Apple Intelligence, the Mira chat tab will not be available.
