What's New in Revoir 1.4.0¶
Revoir on iPad¶
Revoir now adapts to the iPad rather than stretching an iPhone layout across a much larger screen.
Layouts respond to the available width, so content sits where it should instead of running edge to edge in long, thin columns. If you have been using Revoir on an iPad and finding it awkward, this is the release that fixes it.
Home scrolls properly¶
Three separate gestures on the Home screen were competing with the scroll view and winning.
The daily tip card had a swipe gesture that claimed any drag starting on it, including drags that were clearly meant to scroll. The quick-log mood row held onto presses in a way the scroll view could not cancel. Card swipes captured vertical drags that belonged to the list.
All three are fixed. Dragging anywhere on Home now scrolls Home, including on the tip card and the mood row.
The first-use tip stays out of the way¶
At larger text sizes, the tip shown on your first visit to a screen could grow until it took the entire screen, leaving nothing to scroll until you dismissed it.
The tip is now hosted above the content rather than competing with it for space, and it is capped so it can never take more than part of the screen no matter how large your text is set. The screen underneath stays scrollable the whole time.
A new app icon¶
Revoir has a new icon, on the warmer end of the palette that Dusk and Linen introduced.
