Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 6, 2026

Our Privacy Promise

Revoir is built with privacy as a core principle. Your personal data stays on your device. We don't have access to your dates, moods, or any personal information you log in the app.

Data We Collect

Waitlist Signups

When you join our waitlist, we collect:

  • Your email address
  • Referral code (if applicable)
  • Signup timestamp

This information is used solely to notify you when Revoir launches and to manage waitlist position.

Lawful Basis

We process your email address on the basis of your consent, provided when you submit the waitlist form.

Data Retention

We retain waitlist email addresses until the app launches and initial invitations are sent, or until you request deletion, whichever comes first. App data is stored only on your device and we have no access to it.

Data We Don't Collect

The Revoir app stores all your data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to:

  • Your dating history or logs
  • Mood tracking data
  • Personal notes or reflections
  • Photos or media
  • Contact information of people you date

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services on this marketing website only. The Revoir iOS and Android apps do not use any third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

  • Supabase - To store waitlist signups securely
  • Vercel - To host this website
  • PostHog - Product analytics on this website only. PostHog records page views and CTA clicks so we can understand which pages help visitors find the app. Autocapture and session replay are disabled, and we respect the browser Do Not Track signal.
  • Google Analytics 4 - Aggregate traffic analytics on this website only. GA4 truncates IP addresses at ingest by default and does not store the raw IP. Cookies are set with SameSite=Strict;Secure.

These services run on the marketing website only. None of them receive any data from inside the Revoir app, where your dating data stays on your device.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), the analytics cookies set by PostHog and Google Analytics 4 can be considered “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.

You can opt out at any time by declining the cookie banner when it appears, or by clearing the revoir-cookie-consent entry in your browser’s local storage to bring the banner back. Once you decline, PostHog will not be initialised and Google Analytics will be disabled for the remainder of your session and all future visits.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Portability — You may request your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
  • Rectification — You may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure — You may request deletion of your personal data at any time.
  • Restriction of Processing — You may ask us to limit how we use your data.
  • Withdraw Consent — You may withdraw your consent at any time, which will not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Since app data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. To exercise any of the above rights regarding your waitlist data, contact us at [email protected]
